Melkar degree college has gained 90% result in sixth sem (final year) B.com degree examination May 2016. Among the appeared 40 students 31students are first class with distinction and 5 are first class passed . Toppers of the college are Mariyam Abida93% Harshida 92.5% safwana 91%.

Melkar womens PU college secured 96% in their board examination. Totally 146 students appeared for board exam among them 140 successfully completed their PUC. 12 students completed with distinction. 85 students secured first class. In commerce faleela simith 551, ayisha misbha 548, safa parveena 545, Heena kausar 538, mariyam Thahneeya 524, ayisha Tasneeya 522, and Najeema 511 and in arts ismath 535, shahida 532, Fathimath mufeeda 519, Mariyamma 513, T sowda 513, secured distinction .

Melkar Women’s Pre University and Degree College has achieved 97.5% result in this academic year. Commerce stream once again recorded 100% results. 45 students had appeared for exams among them 7 students have scored distinction and 32 1st class . Sameeda Banu secured the highest by scoring 548 marks placed top in the college. Scored 100 marks in Business Studies, 100 in Accountancy, 96 in Computer science and 91 in Kannada. Farhana Banu (538), Ramzeena (527), Nafeesath Mishriya (517), Reenaz Banu (516), Nishath (513), Shain (511), Nashath Niza (504), are some of the other distinction holders. In arts stream students have shown their best performance by promotion of 65 students among 67 appeared candidates. As well as 54 students have scored with 1st class marks. Sumayya (489) has scored highest place in this stream. In science stream 13 students had appeared for the exams out of which 11 students have shown there best performance by scoring 1st class . Among them Nasira (498) has scored the highest. On behalf of the management, Chairman S.M.Rasheed has congratulated all the students, Principal and staff for this excellent achievement.
